Local author of Earth Mother Herbal and The Herbalist of Yarrow. Shatoiya has worked with herbs for over 45 years. She enjoys tending her herb, veggie, and flower gardens and preserving the bounty for off-season use. Her husband Rick has worked at Finnriver in Cider Production. Rick enjoys working on their 5 acre property in Chimacum and walks with their dog Evie. Rick and Shatoiya both enjoy the community created by Finnriver and the love and respect for the land that pervades Center Valley.
