STYLE: Barrel-Aged Belgian Ferment
AROMA & FLAVOR: A round fruity aroma that leans to banana and phenolic spice, soft and silky the hazy yeasty cider blends with the toasted oak of a Woodinville Whiskey barrel. Notes of vanilla to match the tropical yeast profile. A Toasted biscuit with fruit.
APPLE VARIETIES: Fermented on the farm with a select blend of Washington State organic apples.
CIDERMAKER NOTES: This is a cider of delight. The high temperature Belgian yeast ferment produced deep and exciting aromas to be matched with the body and undertones of the whiskey barrel. Not too tart, not too sweet, not too funky. A very nice middle ground. A good demonstration of yeast character, as well as a gentle touch of barreled complexity.
SERVING SUGGESTIONS: Best with hearty fare, burgers and other loaded sandwiches. A treat with
creamy cheeses, and rich appetizers.
SWEETNESS: Semi-sweet, Brix 1.008
ALCOHOL PERCENTAGE: 6.5% abv.
