Needle Felt An Orca with Woodland & Wool Creations!

This 2.5 hour workshop is a hands-on crafting course using one of the world’s oldest textiles and fabrics – wool! 
Let’s celebrate our resident orca pod in the Salish Sea this Valentine’s Day season and create a wool felted orca! This workshop will cover the art of needle felted sculpture with our enchanting orcas of the Salish Sea as our muse! 
Jillian Gericke of Woodland & Wool Creations will guide you through the process of wool shaping, adding color, creating flat pieces as fins, and adding eyes. We will discuss the various approaches to displaying our wool-felted orcas (hanging or mounting on drift wood or rocks).  Each person will get black and white wool, needles, and a small foam felting block to complete one wool-felted orca. 
All supplies and tools are included.
